Welcome to Cambridge University Athletic Club. The Club prides itself on its long and distinguished history as one of the oldest athletics clubs in the world. Since 1857 CUAC has welcomed athletes ranging from beginners to future Olympic champions.

Three times a year we compete against Oxford. There is the Fresher’s Match in November, the Indoor Field Events and Relays Match in February and the Varsity Match in May, which welcomes its 152nd anniversary in 2016 . In three out of every four years, Cambridge and Oxford Athletic Clubs come together under the combined Achilles Club banner to compete against American Universities in the oldest international athletic series in the world.

CUAC caters for athletes at all levels with our excellent facilities and top-class coaches. Our recent membership has extended from beginners right up to GB Internationals. Here at CUAC, we have one collective aim that drives and unites us as a club - to beat Oxford 4-0 in The Varsity Match, and form an unrivalled team atmosphere while building towards this.

A defining feature of the club is the cohesion between every single member. In addition to regular training and competition, we organise a week long training camp in Tenerife in March and countless socials throughout the year. I'd encourage everyone, whether interested in trying athletics for the first time or an experienced athlete, to come to the track and meet the club.

I hope you enjoy exploring our website and I look forward to seeing you at one of our training sessions.
