Selwyn, St. Catharine’s Triumph in Cuppers
Monday, October 27th, 2008The result of the hard-fought Cuppers competition held over the weekend of 18-19 October was a win for defending champions Selwyn in the men’s competition. Their score of 232 left them clear of persistent challengers Queens’, who finished in second with 179, with Churchill third with 133. The women’s competition was a rather tighter affair, with only one point separating St. Catharine’s and Selwyn after the first day of competition. However, on day two it was St. Catharine’s who moved clear to take victory with 223 points, trailed by Selwyn on 195, with Newnham a distant third with 81. Congratulations to all those who took part.
