CUAC Christmas Dinner!

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

It’s that time of year again (well not really, but term ends early in Decemeber so Cambridge Christmas is SOON!), and CUAC will celebrate in style.

Everyone is invited to the CUAC Christmas Dinner, on Decemeber 4th.  Clare has booked out a room in Pizza Express on Jesus Lane, so there’ll be plenty of room for everyone who’s keen, but make sure to send her an e-mail (cap55) to book your place.  It’s sure to be a great night, so the more the merrier.

Also keep a look out for ‘Christmas Circuits’, which is definitely not to be missed!

Training Moves Indoors!

Sunday, November 16th, 2008
Training will take on an exciting new dimension this week, with the
introduction of our first indoor session of the year - taking place at Lee
Valley Athletics Centre in North London on Saturday. Indoor training is a
great opportunity to do a quality session in good conditions as the weather
gets colder and the nights draw in. Indoor training will be suitable for
all athletes focusing on events up to and including 400m, and is also
especially valuable for Hurdlers, Jumpers, and Vaulters.

If interested please e-mail Lucy Spray (ls424) so we can organise
transport. We will be aiming to leave at about 12.00pm immediately after
lectures, though some cars may leave earlier/later. We intend to be back in
Cambridge by early evening. Exact timings will be confirmed closer to the
time. Please also contact Lucy if you have a car and are available to drive
to Lee Valley.
