A busy term meant that a slightly depleted Cambridge team made the journey up to Sheffield for indoor BUCS. However, as always (as I'm told) it was an amazing event with a great atmosphere and a number of promising CUAC performances.

The first day of action began with the 60m heats, with strong PBs from Sam and Kefeshe of 7.34 and 8.35 respectively and a powerful run from Zute, cruising into the semis with a season's best time. The morning performances were followed up by Barnaby in the pole vault, and another strong run by Zute in the semis to close out day 1.

The next day started with Adam and Cameron comfortably navigating their way through the 1500 heats to secure their semi final spots later that day. Next up on the track was the 400 heats, with Jack qualifying to Sunday's semis while Archie ran a strong race in his first ever indoor 400. On the field, Morgan jumped to a huge lifetime PB of 6.52 to round off the morning's events.

In the afternoon Adam and Cameron returned to the track for the semi finals of the 1500. A strong finish from Adam saw him gain automatic qualification to Sunday's final, while Cameron finished just one position off qualification with a great race.

Sunday began with Jack in the 400 semis, followed by Adam in the 1500 final. A very impressive race from Adam saw him finish just outside the medals in 4th, boding very well for his transition up from the 800.

All in all a successful weekend from Cambridge to close out the indoor season, with a number of PBs, SBs and great performances. Our attention now turns towards the outdoor season, with preparations for Varsity beginning to get under way.
